I am so grateful to have had Loreta and her staff care for my mother. Our relationship lasted until my mother’s death from dementia and related illnesses. With the decline of my mother’s mental state, I felt it necessary to seek outside help. A reference for Loreta and her agency, Friendly Caregiver, came from the management of a nearby assisted living facility. Loreta returned my call immediately to set up an introductory meeting with my mother and myself 2 days later. There began a 2 year relationship that saw her staff entering our home to care for my mother, at first. 3 days a week that turned to 4, and then to 7 days a week as her condition worsened. Loreta’s staff never missed a shift and I never missed a day of work while they cared for her. What a great relief. When her condition allowed they took her out on day trips to parks, the zoo, restaurants, and events and kept her mind active with board games, puzzles, etc. I cannot thank them enough.
