We were extremely happy with the wonderful care and kindness Loretta and her team provided for Margaret. Friendly Care came onboard several years ago when she required extra personal care.

Loretta's girls were always punctual, caring, reliable, efficient and provided great companionship. They attended to all her extra needs such as shopping, doctors appointments, hospital visits, and personal grooming. We the family are from different parts of Canada and United States. Loreta and Natalia demonstrated a good understanding of the needs of elderly people with dementia. They were very sensitive to my mom’s moods and provided consistent and compassionate care. They maintained a delicate balance between providing the necessary care and support and respecting my mom’s wish to be independent.

Loreta, personally managed the evening shift as this was the time when my mom was most confused and distraught. Loreta was always very creative in finding ways of distracting my mom, getting her to take her medication, and calming her down. Although my mom often resisted assistance, over time she came to like and trust both Loreta and Natalia.

As a family, we very much appreciated the frequent and open dialogue we had with Loreta. She kept us informed about any issues that arose, and she came to like and trust both Loreta and Natalia.

Caring for an elderly parent with dementia is highly stressful and demanding for any family. We cannot imagine how we would have managed during those six months without the support of Loreta and Natalia.

Friendly Caregiver has been helping me over four years. Anything you need to do she will do for you. If you want shopping she will take you shopping. She will do necessities and more.
